| 5th Annual Marvel in Manitowish Waters Sun, December 26, 2010 - Fri, December 31, 2010 Time: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Join us in Manitowish Waters for a holiday week of special activities which will add to the fun of counting down the new year! These low/no cost, family-fun activities can be enjoyed regardless of our snow conditions! Past activities have included library story hour, crafts, dog sledding demos, ice skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music and dancing, educational programs, and more! This variety of activities is sponsored by the Manitowish Waters Chamber, with past participation from the North Lakeland Discovery Center, Koller Library, North Lakeland Ice youth hockey club, Northern Highlands Community Foundation, and area businesses and organizations (times and activity locations will vary each day).
