Ozaukee County, located along twenty-five miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, may be the smallest county in land size in the state but it offers a lot to its visitors. An area full of nature’s beauty and cultural heritage, Ozaukee County is just fifteen minutes from downtown Milwaukee and two hours from Chicago. Its parks and recreational areas offer breathtaking views. Its working museums highlight the rich historic traditions that settlers brought to Ozaukee County that can still be experienced today. Ozaukee County is also a haven for artists whether it’s paint on canvass or the performing arts there are plenty of opportunities to experience the Countryside, Lakeside and Historic Places of Ozaukee County.
