The Alice in Dairyland Program
One of the most recognizable spokespersons of Wisconsin agriculture, Alice in Dairyland is a public relations professional working for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. She travels throughout the state, nation and world to promote Wisconsin products to audiences of all ages, educating the media, youth and civic groups about the many facets of the state's agricultural industry.

Alice's Rich History
From its wholesome and pastoral beginnings following World War II to today's high-tech age of instant media access, Alice in Dairyland has grown and changed with the times. In 1948, Alice was a beauty queen fresh out of high school. Today, she is professional public relations professional with at least four years of experience or education in agriculture, public relations, communications, or related fields. Beyond individual communication skills, the list of job requirements includes knowledge about Wisconsin's diverse agriculture and products, history, resources, and rural-urban issues.

“Keeping Wisconsin Green & Growing”
The Working Lands Initiative is an excellent program that aids farmers and dairy producers, helping them work together to help protect our natural land.
What is the Discovery Farms Program? They are real working Wisconsin farms in different geographic areas, facing different environmental challenges. The Discovery Farms program takes a real-world approach to finding the most economical solutions to overcoming the challenges environmental regulations place on farmers.
Pioneer Farm is a member of the Wisconsin Agricultural Stewardship Initiative - a statewide collaboration between producers, government and the University of Wisconsin System to evaluate best management practices in Wisconsin and form policies based on practices that will enhance the environment and produce a profit for the producer.
Soaring Eagle Dairy's goal is to operate an efficient and profitable business producing high quality dairy products. They strive to be leaders, create a positive image for the dairy industry, promote personal growth and financial stability among themselves and their employees.
