Ho-Chunk Nation

The land of the Ho Chunk is not in one place. It is scattered throughout an area of the state. But you will find much to see and do in the tribal areas. For example, Tribal headquarters is near Black River Falls where you can learn about the Ho Chunk people and how a tribal nation is set up. It’s also the site of their pow wow grounds. Ho Chunk Gaming has a huge hotel-casino complex in the Baraboo area and there’s a Ho Chunk campground near Lyndon Station.
