The western terminus of the Ice Age Trail is located in St. Croix Falls along the St. Croix River. The trail runs through the oldest state park, Interstate Park and the newest one, Straight Lake State Park. But while you’re there hiking the trail you can also fish, bike, snowmobile and ski. The quaint city along the river hosts a number of festivals throughout the year. There’s history, theater and more for you to explore any time of year.
